High Performance Longboard The performance longboard features additional rocker, sleeker outline, and more tapered responsive rails. The bottom utilizes a concave in the nose for increased lift in noseriding, which transitions to a double concave through the mid-section of the board, then to a concave vee or "spiral vee" through the fins and last 1/3 of the board.

THE PROXY
Proctor Custom Flexible Epoxy version 2.0
- Stronger than before, lighter than before, with an even more responsive/ longer lasting flex memory -
Made from materials designed for the highest performance surfing
possible – utilizes specific flex patterns to increase the board’s
torque through turns.
Stronger than the molded boards (i.e. Boardworks, Surftech, etc…)
Lighter than traditional p/u boards (polyurethane)
Custom designed…no pop-outs.
Now with unlimited custom graphics options.
The Proxy….definition. – Custom epoxy surfboard that matches the
flex and performance advantages of a polyester board with strength that
surpasses the molded pop-out boards.
This is our latest development in the flexible epoxy series.
We begin with an ultra-lightweight epoxy “fusion Core” for the shaped
blank - a uniquely formulated eps that has been fused under higher
pressures to achieve greater compression strength and less ‘worm holes’
(i.e open pores typical with standard eps foams. These open pores, or
worm holes add unnecessary weight due to water or resin absorption into
the blank.) The “Fusion Core” does not suck in water, or bubble or
delaminate over time like other custom epoxy core materials are prone
to do.
I custom shape and design each board on the DSD surfboard cad design program.
This allows me to use my most proven shapes to further customize the
perfect board for each surfer. Through personal discussion and
interaction, I am able to determine each surfers’ height, weight,
experience, the type of waves they surf, and the direction they want to
take their surfing. I have always believed that plain old communication
is an integral part of the design process.
The glassing is done with premium grade S-glass (the best fiberglass
for yielding the highest strength-to-weight surfboards). Strategically
placed flex points, or hinges are added at this stage as well. We are
offering two performance enhancing upgrades to the new PROXY line….I’m
calling this the Titanium Series. Upgrades include: (1) reinforced
carbon-hinge flex tail and/ or (2) Kevlar deck compression patch.
The epoxy resin used in the process is also uniquely formulated to
have more elongation, or flex than is typically characteristic of most
epoxies. This is very important to how a board rides.
The best surfboards flex and recoil back out of turns…..
they flex lengthwise as well as side-to-side along the board….this
is the “spring”, the “life” that you feel in a magic board. No matter
how great the shape of a board may be, you kill it if you build it so
it rides stiff and rigid.
Each board is made from start to finish here in our Ventura factory.
This allows me and the Proctor Surfboards crew to ensure that the
highest level of attention and quality is put into every board.

To read more surfboard reviews & surfer feedback, visit Surfboard-Reviews.comHey Guys,
I got home late last nite tired out after the last days of test riding my new board. WOW!!!!!!! I could not believe my first ride. I felt like the board was connected to my brain.
It was awesome. The transitions from rail to rail were so smooth and quick. Turning from the tail was great. It really was an effortless ride. That was my first ride. I was, of course, quick to attribute it all to my superior skill level. However, as the days went on, I really came to appreciate how well the board rode. Some of the qualities I really appreciated and what I had asked for were, 1. The board was very stable under foot. 2. Turns were quick and smooth 3. Speed was there and getting up the face and sticking that high line was cake. 4. I had a couple of late take-offs but no problem. A liitle weight shift and I rode the tail through the drop into a nice bottom turn. It never felt out of control. 5. The board just did not want to pearl even when I got my fat ass up front it rode beautifully. In fact I kept looking down at the nose thinking, it should dive about now and send me over the nose if I dont move. 6. The board is really light but it has plenty of float and really easy to handle through the paddle out. 7. The board made me feel like a much better surfer than I am. I never had to fight it, it just did whatever I wanted.
I used an 8″ center fin (instead of 9″) centered in the box. Beautiful! I still need to get used to a little harder, stronger paddle getting into the wave after my 10″ but that will come.
Needless to say, I really love this board and cant wait to take it back to Costa Rica in June. Thanks so much for the great job!

Hey Proctors, havent been able to test my new board in any challenging surf yet, but I have taken it out twice and adjusted quick. I havent put it to its limits yet, but I do know I havent lost any paddle speed, Its a lot quicker, turns faster and still allows me to cheat 5.
I like it alot and love the final look, thanks for your help, I know Ill be back soon either to try somthing else or bring a friend.
