MonstaChief
Specifically designed for guys in the 220 - 260lbs + range that want a versatile all-around board they can gouge away on…..in anything from 2 ft. sludge, to overhead throaters. Taken from the original monsta design, this board is armed with folkloric dimensions on a grand scale. For instance, the flagship of the line boasts 6'4" x 21 1/2" x 3 1/8" with full, boxy rails; a 14" wide nose and 17" wide tail. Engineered to thunder down the line like a relentless freight-train displacing buckets of biblical proportions. Don't go longer to have the edge on the rest of the line-up….go stouter….THICK IS THE NEW THIN!!
This board reminds us all to respect the elders of the tribe.

Scarecrow scary? no. this skinny-tailed-swabby is the way to go. Todd, after his
first session on it, "...it felt like butter in a boiling hot pan...I
think I did the best layback turn of my life on that board."
This is the fastest trim speed board ever. Ideal for pointbreaks, this board has incredible drive and projection down the line due to the fuller nose outline and low entry rocker. The narrowness of the winged swallowtail makes it super responsive rail-to-rail allowing it to turn on a dime even if your back foot isn’t right on the tail. The bottom features an even single concave running the length of the board with double concaves inset through the fin cluster….this gives the Scarecrow perfect hold complemented by full tilt speed. Runs typically with two larger side fins and small trailer, but can also be ridden as a thruster; or with a five fin plug set-up to run as quad or thruster. Ride this board six inches shorter and one inch wider than your normal good waves shortboard.

Dimensions: 5'9" x 19 3/4" x 2 3/8" Tail Shape: scary swallow Construction: polyester Fins: FCS Fins, with 5 Fin Install upgrade option - comes with thruster set

Ghost
For those of you who like the Monsta, this is a high performance shortboard counterpart to that design. I’ve kept the rocker and bottom contours the same as that of the Monsta….so same speed, same positive flow… The outline, rail volume and deck foil is that of the SR-71. A great all-around high performance shortboard that doesn’t require perfect waves to feel perfect under your feet. Product Specs: Dimensions: 5'10 x 18 5/8 x 2 5/16Tail Shape: squash Construction: Carbon Rail stringerless Proxy composite Fins: includes fins; choose Future or FCS

Monsta
I’ve created a monster….no, a Monsta…
This
is the most popular and widely ordered board I have been making over
the last three years….it has become most surfers’ “normal everyday board
for all conditions”. The only complaint has become, “I don’t ride any
of my other boards anymore!”
This new life form
is the high performance great grandchild of the Lil’ Rascal….it has
morphed, grown a bit sleeker, but has stayed true to it’s roots of
blistering speed through its heritage of a shorter, wider, stalkier
persona. Where this offspring has matured and pushed past it’s
predecessors is in the area of versatility and in-the-pocket mobility.
The Monsta keeps the speed constant….you don’t have to rely so much on
the wave dictating where you’ll derive your speed from….the board just
goes, yet has the hold of a normal good waves shortboard when you bare
some teeth into your turns. Where the Rascal utilized a spiral vee
contour running through the fin cluster, I’ve plowed all those guts out
of the Monsta and left one deep even concave with subtle inset doubles
running through the fins…as well there is also concave running right off
the tail block; we call it the ‘exhaust pipe’. Ride Da Monsta 3-4
inches shorter and 1/2” wider than your standard good waves shortboard.

El Pavote My current favorite board…..best summed up – easy speed with maximum hold for performance surfing. El Pavote is basically the Falcon model with all the spiral vee through the back half of the board shaped out of the bottom; and replaced with a deep even single concave with subtle doubles running the length of the back 1/3 of the rocker and off the tail block. So….what all that technical jargon means practically is that the El Pavote has more hold off your back foot so you can leave the gas at full throttle through turns, push on it as hard as you like and it will push back and redirect with smooth positive drive not unlike the speed with which demons got the boot from God’s heavenly kingdom at the dawn of time. Ride this board 4-5 inches shorter and 3/4” wider than your standard good waves shortboard.
