Greased Pig Designed for performance surfing in between swells. Concaves all the way through…deepest at the fins… keeps it running fast in the small stuff. Stinger swallowtail makes for more pronounced hip and pivot point to release water and increase looseness. Uses boxy rails to push back in turns. Everything the high performance shortboards do in the good waves this board does in the crud. Ridden 3-4 inches shorter and 1/4" to 1/2" wider. Todd will specify the variation on this design during order process. Formerly know as the "LeVee". A speed machine for chest high waves and smaller; This is the type of board that you drive like a race car….it’s going fast so all you gotta’ do is hang on and steer. It has a low entry rocker for quick paddling, ease catching waves, and increased lift in small/ flatter faced waves. The bottom has a single concave that transitions into a pronounced spiral vee that carries off the tail. This hull design carries excellent trim speed and gives the tail a very free feeling in the small stuff. The rails are fuller and boxier with a forgiving edges that are softly blended into the bottom. You can ride this board 2-3 inches shorter, 1/2” – 3/4” wider, and 1/8” thicker than your standard shortboard. Product Specs :

Made from materials designed for the highest performance surfing
possible – utilizes specific flex patterns to increase the board’s
torque through turns.
Stronger than the molded boards (i.e. Boardworks, Surftech, etc…)
Lighter than traditional p/u boards (polyurethane)
Custom designed…no pop-outs.

The Proxy….definition. – Custom epoxy surfboard that matches the
flex and performance advantages of a polyester board with strength that
surpasses the molded pop-out boards.
This is our latest development in the flexible epoxy series.
We begin with an ultra-lightweight epoxy “fusion Core” for the shaped
blank - a uniquely formulated eps that has been fused under higher
pressures to achieve greater compression strength and less ‘worm holes’
(i.e open pores typical with standard eps foams. These open pores, or
worm holes add unnecessary weight due to water or resin absorption into
the blank.) The “Fusion Core” does not suck in water, or bubble or
delaminate over time like other custom epoxy core materials are prone
to do.
I custom shape and design each board on the DSD surfboard cad design program.
This allows me to use my most proven shapes to further customize the
perfect board for each surfer. Through personal discussion and
interaction, I am able to determine each surfers’ height, weight,
experience, the type of waves they surf, and the direction they want to
take their surfing. I have always believed that plain old communication
is an integral part of the design process.
The glassing is done with premium grade S-glass (the best fiberglass
for yielding the highest strength-to-weight surfboards). Strategically
placed flex points, or hinges are added at this stage as well. We are
offering two performance enhancing upgrades to the new PROXY line….I’m
calling this the Titanium Series. Upgrades include: (1) reinforced
carbon-hinge flex tail and/ or (2) Kevlar deck compression patch.
The epoxy resin used in the process is also uniquely formulated to
have more elongation, or flex than is typically characteristic of most
epoxies. This is very important to how a board rides.
The best surfboards flex and recoil back out of turns…..
they flex lengthwise as well as side-to-side along the board….this
is the “spring”, the “life” that you feel in a magic board. No matter
how great the shape of a board may be, you kill it if you build it so
it rides stiff and rigid.
Each board is made from start to finish here in our Ventura factory.
This allows me and the Proctor Surfboards crew to ensure that the
highest level of attention and quality is put into every board.
I can tell you’re a perfectionist when you shape a board,
because every board I’ve had from you has been perfect.

the trip was awesome and the new sticks were great.
we had some freak swells roll into the island area and found ourselves among some decent surf for most of the trip.
I miss the island so much already and am planning to
go back within a couple weeks.
if possible can you send some proctor stickers our way?
the bigger the better.

Todd, here is my feedback on the 6’4” LeVee Flexible Epoxy. By the
way, got the extra fin screws from you today. Thank you for excellent
customer service.
Todd, took delivery of the 6’4” LeVee and let it cure just as you instructed. Here is my comments.
I found the LeVee to be generally very fast and highly maneuverable.
The most satisfying thing I can say about the board is that it is very
responsive in the tube or any portion of the wave when it became a
steep vertical face. That alone made me very happy, as my ability to
stay in the tube is somewhat mediocre at best. Also, getting bounced
off the bottom on a bad shoulder makes one generally skittish about
getting hammered by the lip. The board paddles acceptably well for such
a small board. It catches waves well.
This flexible epoxy construction really seems to work.
I can actually feel the board loading under (flexing) on the bottom
turn, and then when it releases the flex, feeling the “spring” spit me
out of the turn.
That part is really unique to my experience. Kinda like skiing or snowboarding.
It seems durable under my rough handling. It definitely springs back
with energy, which is something I have never dealt with before (will
take some getting used to, but that is a good thing!).
This board shape and the construction rates a 10 – 10, 10 being
best. Thanks for a great product. I look forward to using the flexible
epoxy 7’2” West Peak/Big Chief on my overseas trip this year.
I can only imagine what a really good surfer must be able to do with
this shape and this construction. This is a quality product.

6′4″ x 19 7/8″ x 2 5/8″ Levee Proctor Custom Epoxy “PROXY” Series By the way, I surfed Newport River Jetties yesterday on peaky
knee-waist on the 6.4 Proctor LeeVee and my good friend from Hurley was
astonished at the speed I was getting on these little waves. I am
attaching a couple to give you an idea of what fun I had on your boards.
I am a happy customer, Bert Rivera
Todd, the new era greased pig is the best board ever made.
Did you hear it squealing at Malibu this morning?
It comes off the top insane carries a rail and drives like no tomorrow.
Thanks for such a sick one,

Believe it or not after all this time I just now got to take the New Board out. The Board is truly awesome.
Just as advertized it catches waves easy and in head high surf is a Rocket Ship.
I did purchase a set of VF467 Foil Tech Fins. The board absolutely accelerates thru turns.
Hopefully this weekend I can have some pictures taken and will attach.
Thanks Again,
Franks

Proctor Custom Epoxy “PROXY” Surfboard: 6′4″ x 19 5/8″ x 2 7/16″ Greased Pig (Levee)
Hey Todd: Been awhile since I picked up the boards, but I wanted to let you know that they both work unreal. I have never had boards that are so light and responsive as this. Especially like the Pig and have surfed it in head high waves. Been on that board alot. Waiting for a little more juice to get the Accelerator going, but so far I am totally satisfied. I think you dialed in exactly what I needed in both boards and it feels like my surfing has gone to the next level. The rest of my boards are just collecting dust right now! And thanks for the personal service. Best custom service I have had. You have a great operation and I like that fact that you treat everyone with equal respect and attention. I will be coming back for more, if these Proxy's ever give out! Off to Costa Rica next month and will send you some photos. Best to you and Charissa.
