New and improved... straighter tail rocker increases drive and heavier concaves through the fins adds a whole new responsiveness to make the new Blackbird one of the favorites moving into the new year. STILL....AND NOW MORE THAN EVER...A spry, lively bugger of a backfoot board. Developed around San Clemente’s variety of waves; goes mental in points, reefs, and beachbreaks alike. Heavy single concave through the tail makes this board really alive in the pocket. It will release out the back and re-engage for fins-free type of maneuvers, airs and reverses. Designed for the new order of surfing.

Hey Todd + Charissa,

Just thought I’d drop a line just to let you know that this board has changed my surfing completely.

When I got on it, it just felt so light and smooth and it goes like a rocket. I love it and everyone who’s seen it is really impressed by it so don’t be surprised if the orders start flyin’ in from the west side!. We were down on Ballyliffen beach last week , this is where this photo was taken. You will have to come over some time, if you do, just give me a shout.

Thanks again Todd for a mindbender of a board, gonna order a groveler in the near future so I’ll be in touch.

My new Blackbird is like butter on a wave, so loose yet smooth!

The rocker on this is magic… My PU performance fish (the one that I wanted replicated as a PROXY) feels slower and stiffer in comparison. Thanks for the recommendation!

You were right: it’s making me want to sell all my other boards and get a quiver of PROXY Blackbirds!

I'm loving my 6'4" blackbird! I constantly get comments about it (digi camo with titanium 1 and 2) and it's really pushing my surfing ability. I can definitely grow into this board. :)

Hi Todd,

I just wanted to tell you how great the new Blackbirds are going. I have ridden them a few times since getting them last weekend and besides being soooo beautiful, they are every bit as fast and maneuverable as the original I got over 2 years ago ...that is still going strong.

I know I say this over every board I get from you, but I think if I had to pick just one board to ride forever, the Blackbird would be it.
It just makes me feel like a super hero... tail free hits, airs, slides, you name it, the board does it. It is exactly like your description and takes your surfing to the next level. So highly recommended to anyone going for the next level with their surfing.

Thanks again for all you do.
You truly are a master craftsman.

Will send pics soon. I hope you are scoring on this unending NW smorgasbord we are getting.
